How do PDO Threads work?
After we inject a local anesthetic into your treatment areas, we’ll use special cannulas to insert threads, which are made of biodegradable polydioxanone (PDO). These sutures will be gradually absorbed by your body, stimulate the production of collagen, and lift your tissues. In about 3 – 6 months, once the collagen has naturally formed around the thread, you’ll enjoy complete results.

After treatment, we recommend you avoid excessive face animation for 2 weeks, massage and manipulation of facial tissues for 2 weeks, and microneedling for 2 weeks. In addition, refrain from strenuous exercise for 72 hours and dental procedures for 2 to 4 weeks.
Is there any downtime?
You may experience swelling and bruising for a few days but can still return to work and your daily responsibilities right away.
